Ever thought of creating a new game or film?<\/span><\/p>\n

What if you were challenged have something ready to show an audience in 24\u00a0hours,\u00a0with a prize pot of \u00a35,000 up for grabs?\u00a0Let\u2019s\u00a0Jam!<\/p>\n

Kicking off\u00a0on the 20<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0of February with an introduction to Jams,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0have\u00a0a chance to hear and be inspired by people in industry, to get your team in place,\u00a0and ask questions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The real work starts on the 26<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0of February, where we reveal the topic and rules of the event LIVE at M-SParc\u00a0and on our website\u00a0at 9am.\u00a0\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0then have until 6pm on the 27<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0of February to create your game or film, ready to present at our pitching event.\u00a0\u00a0You can stay at M-SParc\u00a0for the duration, designing and working as a team, or you can meet at\u00a0one of our\u00a0satellite\u00a0locations, including\u00a0Stiwdio\u00a0Vedri\u00a0which is available\u00a0on the 27th, or online!\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0need to\u00a0be at M-SParc\u00a0for 6pm on the 27<\/span>th\u00a0<\/span>for the big showdown!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n9:30: Opening and introduction, with a chance to hear from industry\u00a0and people\u00a0who\u2019ve\u00a0participated\u00a0in Jams before.<\/span>
\n11:00: Get into teams! If you\u00a0haven\u2019t\u00a0got a team when you arrive,\u00a0we\u2019ll\u00a0do everything we\u00a0can to\u00a0support.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This event is open to the public, anyone can come along to enjoy the experience, have some hearty food, and see what the judges decide. Our team is there to support you all along the way.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Games \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b>You will bring the game as a playable; on your laptop or device, people will be able to play your game to test and score it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
